SB 1248, also known as Yahushua’s Law, is a California state law that mandates all K–12 public schools, charter schools, and county offices of education to develop, adopt, and implement mandatory weather safety policies for extreme weather conditions during outdoor activities.
Roseland School District utilizes National Weather Service HeatRisk guidance, AirNow AQI guidance, and Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) monitoring for all athletic facilities. Outdoor and unconditioned indoor athletic activities will be modified or canceled based on Roseland’s WBGT activity modification chart and CIF heat illness prevention guidelines. During HeatRisk Red or Magenta conditions or WBGT readings above 84.2°F (Category 1), outdoor and unconditioned indoor activities may be delayed, relocated, modified, or canceled. All coaches are required to complete annual heat illness prevention training.

FREE - No Tickets Required | Parking permit required
On Saturday, March 28, the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University will be presenting their annual Free Family Day with La Mezcla and many other fun and educational bilingual activities for families. Tickets are not required for this free event, but parking is $6 per vehicle on campus.
