Board of Education

The Roseland School District Board of Education consists of two Boards known as the District Board of Trustees (PS-6) and the Charter Board of Directors (7-12). Each Board has five members and one Student Board Ambassador.  They set a direction for the district, provide a structure by establishing policies, ensure accountability and provide community leadership on behalf of the district and public education.

Board of Education Meetings

The District Board of Trustees meetings are generally held on the 3rd Wednesday at 5:00pm of each month.  Two meetings are scheduled in June for LCAP/Budget Hearing/Adoption. No regular meetings are scheduled in July.  Click here to view the District Board of Trustees Meeting Calendar.

The Charter Board of Directors meetings are generally held on the 2nd Wednesday at 5:30pm of each month.  Two meetings are scheduled in June for LCAP/Budget Hearing/Adoption. No regular meetings are scheduled in July.  Click here to view the Charter Board of Directors Meeting Calendar. 

Agendas & Minutes

The meeting agenda is published the Friday before each regularly scheduled board meeting. Members of the public may request that items be included on the agenda. Such requests should be in writing and addressed to the Office of the Superintendent. Minutes are kept of all board meetings, recording actions taken by the Board.
