Roseland Accelerated Middle School

Welcome to Roseland Charter Middle School and Sheppard Accelerated Elementary School. Our school is a wonderful place where teachers, students and parents work together to create a safe and caring environment where children love to learn. As part of the Roseland School District, we are committed to the mission of Academic Excellence with a Heart. It is our aim to reflect this child-centered philosophy in everything we do.

Roseland Charter Middle School and Sheppard Accelerated Elementary School is home to approximately 875 students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Our educational program is supported by 35 classroom teachers, a special education teacher, speech and language therapist, bilingual resource teacher, librarian and several specialists for music, P.E., and technology. In addition, we have the support from Sonoma Serves which helps sponsor Project Scholars and COOL School.  Finally, Sheppard/RAMS is known for its strong partnership with Sonoma State University in which the school hosts several student teachers each year.

At Sheppard/RAMS school, we ask that students Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful.  As a community, we are also committed to Conflict Management and Life skills programs.  Each month we gather as a school community to celebrate the children’s achievements at Student of the Month Assemblies.  RAMS celebrates once a trimester at the RAMS Awards Assembly recognizing students that have demonstrated academic excellence and their personal best. This reflects our belief in the importance of recognizing children for their hard work.

We encourage you to come and be a part of all of these fabulous events at Sheppard/RAMS.  Parental involvement is not only welcomed, it is essential to the success of our school!  Volunteer in a classroom!  Join our monthly Parent Club meetings!  Come to a Site Council meeting!  Your participation in your child’s educational experience makes a terrifically positive impact.
